Mezzo Ristorante & Lounge wants to make your visit to the beautiful neighbourhood of Via Italia a breeze and enhance your entire experience with us. It is said that parking is difficult to find but it really isn't ... and this info will make it even easier!
𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 is available along all Erie St. neighbourhood crossroads, our closest being Marentette and the next is Elsmere.
𝐌𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 - If you don't find a spot, metered parking is available along Erie St. at $2.00 per hour effective Monday to Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Parking after hours or on Sundays and holidays is free. Payment is by coin, $0.25, $1.00, $2.00, and token.
𝐌𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐥 𝐋𝐨𝐭𝐬 𝟑𝟓, 𝟑𝟕 & 𝟑𝟗 - Directly across the street from Mezzo and behind Oggi's Hair Design, you'll find plenty of parking in the municipal lots.
The standard rate is $1.75 per hour and the hours of operation are 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday to Saturday. Various lots have a flat fee of $3.00 from 6:00 p.m. to midnight.
No coins, no problem! Download the City of Windsor - Municipal Government passport app for meters and municipal lots. Those parking spaces and lots we mentioned are labeled "pay by phone" https://www.citywindsor.ca/.../on-off-street.../parking-app

COCKTAIL FEATURE - "𝐆𝐎𝐃𝐅𝐀𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐑"
Bowmore Single Malt is 𝘷𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘢 𝘪𝘤𝘦 𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘮 𝘢𝘵 𝘢 𝘣𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘩 𝘣𝘰𝘯𝘧𝘪𝘳𝘦, accented with a 𝘯𝘶𝘵𝘵𝘺, 𝘤𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘳𝘺 𝘴𝘸𝘦𝘦𝘵𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴from Disaronno.

GENERAL MANAGER MATT JONES
MATT JONES - a.k.a the Whisky Chef
With a career spanning 30 years in hospitality, Matt has worked every position in a restaurant front to back, on 4 continents. He took a decade long break from working in restaurants, and traveled North America as Whisky Specialist and all around Cocktail Consultant for the largest whisky company in the World, Beam Suntory. He presented to service staff and consumers in a different bar or restaurant, in a different city, every night of the week.
As a curator of spirited culinary & cocktail events, Matt collaborated with top chefs and bartenders across Canada and the US. In 2016 and 2017 he was named the World Whisky Ambassador of the Year, and was featured on the cover of Whisky Magazine.
Matt moved back to Windsor to be closer to his family in 2019, and has been working as Executive Chef and Food & Beverage Manager locally for the last 5 years.
He has now found his home as the new General Manager of Mezzo, stop by and welcome Matt!
